About TCCD

The Taiwan Chamber of Commerce in Delhi, India (TCCD) is the first Taiwanese businessmen association established in India, officially inaugurated on August 8, 2010. The inaugural meeting was held at the Lalit Hotel in New Delhi, attended by over 50 Taiwanese businessmen.

Representative Mr. Weng Wenqi, and Economic Counselor Mr. David Hsu from The Taipei Economic and Cultural Center, which is the representative office of Taiwan in India, was invited to attend the event.

The first chairman of TCCD was Mr. Lee Yan-Jin, and Mr. Tseng An- Bang served as the general secretary. The establishment of TCCD aims to promote contacts, mutual assistance, cooperation, and experience sharing among Taiwanese companies investing in New Delhi, India, for business development and safeguarding their interests. Additionally, TCCD seeks to enhance economic, trade, cultural exchanges, and cooperation between Taiwan and India’s business communities.  

As the chairman and the general secretary were leaving India, Mr. Wang HanChung, a senior manager at Delta Electronics India, was elected as the vice-chairman and took over the duties of the chairman, and Ms. Cannie Min, the founder of Companion Travels, was appointed as the new general secretary.

On August 4, 2012, TCCD held the second general assembly at the Park Hotel in New Delhi, electing Mr. Chang Hong Zhong, the general manager of China Airlines’ India Branch, Mr. Yeh Mao-Sheng, the deputy representative of CSC India, Mr. Wang Han Chung, the senior manager of Delta Electronics India, Mr. Guo Geng Cong, the general manager of MediaTek India, Mr. Chen Rui Fen, the sales representative of Tatung Fine Chemicals, Mr. Wang Si-Min, the representative of CSC India, and Ms. Cannie Min, the funder of Companion Travels as directors. 

Following the general assembly, the board meeting unanimously elected Mr. Chang Hong Zhong as the chairman and Ms. Cannie Min as the secretary general.

In June 2021, TCCD’s Sixth chairman and board of directors were elected according to the organizational charter. Mr. Chen Baodong, the representitive of CPC India, serves as the current chairman of TCCD and Ms. Cannie Min ,the funder of HanYou Consulting services company,was appointed as the as the secretary general.

TCCD continues to support the Taiwanese business community in India, promote trade and investment between Taiwan and India, and foster cultural exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.

In June 2023, TCCD’s Seventh President and board of directors were elected according to the organizational charter. Mr. Jason Ho, the Chairman of Taisys Group, serves as the current President of TCCD, Ms. Cannie Min as funder of HanYou Consulting services and Ms.Sandy Lin as Chairman of MEGA Source Technology are Vice President of TCCD,separetly. Mr. Sonic Hsieh was appointed as the Secretary General. The term of TCCD’s Seventh is from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2025.
